Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], January 12 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the state government will send five Lakh Ladoos from the city of Baba Mahakal (Ujjain) as his prasad to Ayodhya.
CM Yadav made the remark while talking to the reporters in the state capital Bhopal on Friday in view of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
"Prime Minister Modi has given directions that whenever a date is given to states after January 22 (to visit Ayodhya), we will follow that. Around 2000 years ago, Maharaj Vikarmaditya from Madhya Pradesh built the temple of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and the same temple was vandalised by Babar around 500 years ago then how can Madhya Pradesh lag behind? When the temple is being constructed again, then we are going to send 5 lakh laddoos from the city of Baba Mahakal as prasad," CM Yadav said.
The Madhya Pradesh Government will send Prasad of Baba Mahakal on this occasion to make it unforgettable, he added.
Earlier on Thursday, CM Yadav targeted the Congress party over declining the invitation to the 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony of Ram Mandir saying they hurt the sentiments of the majority of the population of the country.
"This is very unfortunate. First, Congress created obstacles (to the construction) for the Ram Temple. Now they are insulting the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. In a way, it has hurt the sentiments of the majority of the population of the country. Congress should apologise," he said.
This came after senior Congress leaders--Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury--'declined' the invitation to the 'Pran Pratistha' ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22.
Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh alleged that the grand event is "clearly a Bharatiya Janata Party and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh event."
Preparations are underway in full swing for the Ram Temple 'Pran Pratishtha' on January 22, which will draw dignitaries and people from all walks of life. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has decided to enthrone Ram Lalla at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram Temple at noon on January 22. Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya will begin on January 16, a week before the main ceremony.
A priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, will perform the main rituals of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22. From January 14 to January 22, Ayodhya will mark the Amrit Mahotsav. Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, holds great spiritual, historical, and cultural significance for the people of India.
