"We are working on making science city in state": MP CM Mohan Yadav on National Science Day

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], February 28 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav extended greetings to everyone on the occasion of National Science Day on Friday and announced that his government was working on making a science city in the state.
"I extend my greetings to the people of the state and the country on the occasion of National Science Day. Our Ministry of Science and Technology is working for development in all areas. It is working to implement simplified arrangements based on new technologies in the lives of farmers. I would like to congratulate the Science Technology Department for preparing new ideas, innovations, discoveries and for instilling curiosity among non-science students as well," CM Yadav told reporters.
The Chief Minister further highlighted that he had seen many innovations of the department and would try to ensure that the department's work reaches the division level in the state.
"We are also working on building a science city in our state. Our effort is to make Madhya Pradesh capable and prosperous in the field of science in the coming days and to encourage innovation," he added.
CM Yadav interacted with the reporters after attending a program organised at Vigyan Bhavan in Bhopal on National Science Day, based on the theme "Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for a Developed India."
Addressing the program, CM Yadav said, "A structured, science-based approach, encouragement of curiosity, and the adoption of advanced technologies have paved the way for India to be counted among the world's leading nations. This achievement has been made possible under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The state government is continuously striving to enhance the lives of ordinary citizens by maximizing the use of science in governance, education, and public administration."

The Chief Minister inaugurated the "Center of Excellence in STEM Education" at Vigyan Bhawan on the occasion. During his visit, he observed various models and scientific equipment that help students easily understand different scientific principles. He also toured an exhibition showcasing scientific models and innovations created by students, engaging with them in discussions about their projects.
