Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], October 16 : In a reaction to retired IPS officer Meera Borwankar's accusation on one 'dada', Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Nana Patole said that a proper investigation should take place and the matter will be raised in the Assembly.
"In the book of Retired IPS officer Meera Borwankar, it is said that dada pressurized to sell police land in Pune. Now who is this Dada? There are several Dadas in Maharashtra and specially in Pune. The allegations are very serious in nature. It is about selling police and public property of state," Patole said speaking to ANI.
The Congress state chief said that the Maharashtra government is making people from the Other Backward Classes and the Marathas fight.
"This government is making OBC and Marathas fight amongst each other. This government cannot give reservation. When we come to power we will definitely give reservation to all," Patole said.
Speaking about the Israel-Hamas conflict, Patole said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can do anything but one should avoid speaking about him to avoid cases.
"He (PM Modi) can do anything. We should avoid speaking about him. Look what happened to Arvind Kejriwal. He spoke and now there are cases against him now," he said.
On some organisations who were checking Aadhar cards for proof of identification for entry into Navratri festivities, Nana Patole said that such organizations should be banned by the government.
"Such organisations should be banned by the government. We wish Muslims on Eid and have biryani and sewai. Similarly the come and celebrate our festival. The only thing that should be checked is that people should be Hindustani first and nothing else. They are trying to divide our society," Patole said.
