Melbourne [Australia], May 27 : Australia women's all-rounder Annabel Sutherland on Wednesday said that she will always remember the moment when she bowled the ball to Sachin Tendulkar.
Earlier this year, Sutherland had bowled two balls to Sachin Tendulkar during the Bushfire Bash relief match.
"I was fielding at mid-off, I think Ellyse Perry bowled three or four balls and then she threw the ball to me, it was very kind of her, I'll remember bowling to Sachin Tendulkar for the rest of my life, the nerves were very high considering I bowled to him," Sutherland said in a video posted by cricket.com.au on its website.
"I bowled a half volley to him, but Sachin was very kind that he hit it straight down the pitch, it was an exciting moment for all of us to be out there, it was awesome," she added.
During the innings break in the Bushfire relief match between Ponting XI and Gilchrist XI, Tendulkar came out of retirement for one over to face Australia's Ellyse Perry.
Ellyse Perry had bowled four balls to Tendulkar, and the Master Blaster managed to score a boundary on the first ball of the over.
And then Annabel Sutherland took the ball in her own hands, and after the six balls concluded, the entire Australian women's team shook hands with the Master Blaster.
In the Bushfire relief match, Ponting XI scored 104 runs and they had managed to win the game by one run.
Tendulkar has the most number of runs in the longest format of the game, amassing 15,921 runs. Along the way, Tendulkar scored 51 Test centuries, most by any player.
Things are no different in ODI cricket as Tendulkar atop the list of most runs in this format as well. He has accumulated 18,426 runs in ODI which includes 49 tons.
