2 Soldiers killed, 2 injured in gunfight with terrorists in J&K’s Kishtwar

Kishtwar (J&K), September 14 (ANI): Two Indian Army soldiers lost their lives, while two others got injured in a gun battle with terrorists in J&K's Kishtwar. Indian Army launched joint operation with J&K Police in Kishtwar on September 13. Following the onset of the encounter, security has been heightened along the Batote-Kishtwar Highway to prevent any escalation. In another operation, 2 terrorists were neutralised in Kathua's Khandara. The security forces have cordoned off the area and operations are still going on in Kishtwar, said the officials. Further details on the ongoing operation are awaited as forces continue their efforts to neutralize the threat.
