3-month-long training course for multi-cuisine dishes concludes in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sept 09 (ANI): Three months long training course of multi-cuisine dishes concluded in Srinagar. It was organised by the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) under the central government scheme ‘Hunar Se Rozgar Tak’. It aimed to promote tourism and provide a proper platform for educated entrepreneurs in Kashmir. With the help of such types of courses, young entrepreneurs can start their own ventures and also get employment in the tourism sector. This year, the tourist season was much better than previous years and all those tourism players, especially hoteliers and houseboat owners, did excellent business. The participants who learnt about multi-cuisine dishes will be adjusted in reputed hotels in Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from the traditional cuisine known as ‘Wazwaan’, visitors also demanded for other multi-cuisine dishes during peak season of tourism. That’s why participants showed their good interest during these three months aiming to become professional entrepreneurs.
