Two-day workshop organised in Kashmir to promote Urdu language

Ganderbal (J&K), Apr 27 (ANI): To promote Urdu journalism and Urdu language in the region, authorities organised two-day workshop in Central University of Kashmir in Ganderbal. The workshop was organized by department of convergent journalism Central University Kashmir in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Urdu council. Because Urdu language is very rich language and has a very strong past in whole country including Jammu and Kashmir and Urdu is also the official language of this state. Number of people including professors, writers, authors, journalists and students participated in the workshop. The affection of the language has affected badly due to modernisation and to regain the language to its earlier glory this two-day workshop is an initiative to it.
