After enjoying power for 15 years in Amethi, he is running away: Smriti Irani on Rahul Gandhi

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Apr 04 (ANI): Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani reached Lucknow today to campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Speaking to the media, Irani said, “I would like to thank my party and the leadership for giving me an opportunity to work for Amethi which tolerated an unknown MP for 15 years, who destroyed each and every system in Amethi. This is an important indication that the person who enjoyed power for 15 years by taking advantage of the people of Amethi, is running away to some other Lok Sabha constituency to file nomination. This is an insult of Amethi. The people of Amethi will not let this insult go in vain.” Taking a jibe at Congress president Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary from Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi, she added, “It is not surprising that Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have been again found with their hands in the cookie jar, specially found with economic relationships with 2G accused and various other scam accused.”
