Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation begins road repairs after heavy rain damage

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has started repairing of roads after heavy rains caused damage in several areas of the city. To expedite the process, the civic authority is using state-of-the-art pothole patching machines known as 'Jet Patchers'. Once the patchwork is completed, traffic flow on Ahmedabad's roads will be smooth again, reducing inconvenience for the public. The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, has also instructed the state's road construction department to work on a war footing to repair highways damaged by the rains.
