Airports across India reintroduce COVID norms

Kochi (Kerala), Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, December 23 (ANI): Amid surge in COVID cases globally, India is on its guard. Health Ministry chaired high-level meetings and issued fresh guidelines for international fliers, India is steeling the foundations of its COVID preparedness. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also chaired a high-level meeting on December 22 to assess the COVID-19 situation in the country and cautioned against complacency while laying stress on testing and strengthening the surveillance measures, especially at international airports. With this, major international airports across the country have tightened screening.
