Art Lovers of Kashmir organise exhibition promoting Miniature Art

Srinagar, Oct 22 (ANI): Exhibition aiming at the promotion of Basholi Miniature and Madhubani style of painting was organised by the art community of Srinagar on October 21. Basohli miniature art, originating from the town of Basohli in Jammu and Kashmir, is known for its vibrant colors, intricate detailing, and depiction of mythological and folk themes. Madhubani art, on the other hand, is a traditional art form from Bihar, characterized by its bold use of lines and colors to depict nature, religious motifs, and daily life.Srinagar is targeting to establishing itself as a cultural hub, where art and heritage are valued and showcased with the help of such exhibitions. This exhibition provided a unique opportunity for artists to interact with visitors, share their inspiration and techniques, and foster a sense of community among art enthusiasts.
