Arunachal Pradesh: BRO ramps up infrastructural developments at bordering areas of LAC

Tezpur (Assam), Dec 19 (ANI):To counter the China's aggressive behaviour towards the LAC, infrastructural development works are being executed in the bordering areas of Arunachal Pradesh. The Border Roads Organisation is engaged in major infrastructural developments along the bordering areas. Moreover, the government has planned to connect all bordering villages of Arunachal Pradesh with connectivity roads According to the officials, the constitution works of the Nechiphu Tunnel under Project Vartak will be complete soon. Moreover, the construction works of the Sela Pass tunnel will also be completed in July 2023. The BRO is also engaged in construction works of the Twin Tube 1,555 meter and 980 meter 'Sela Tunnel Project'. Chief Engineer, Vartak said that the people are facing difficulties while commuting at current Sela Pass road during winter season. He further said that, the Nechiphu tunnel will be opened for the commuters in next 2-3 months and in next 4-6 months we will be able to open the Sela tunnel
