Athletes from BRICS countries preparing for Tokyo Summer Olympics

New Delhi / Moscow, (ANI), July 7, 2021: Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics are now less than a month away after it was postponed for a year due to the pandemic. The preparations for this mega sports event are now in full swing as the athletes’ training calendar has been modified considering all safety measures. Due to the current global epidemiological situation, many other national teams like Russia planned to hold their final training session in Tokyo, but transferred all their training to sports bases of their own countries. The Russian Women’s Rugby team is also about to attend the Moscow stage of the European Championship. Putting all the hard work on their upcoming sports event, the women's rugby team is looking forward to finish the European championship with dignity. The women’s rowing team is also preparing for the Olympics after winning the gold medal at the world championship in Austria in 2019. Brazilian athlete Alexsandro Melo is also preparing for the Olympics. He even got vaccinated in order to feel more confident. Athletes from BRICS countries are sweating out in every category of sports like fencing, skating, horse-riding, swimming and many other sports coming under the Olympics.
