Awareness rally organised for preservation of Dal Lake in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jan 13 (ANI): Under Lieutenant Governor’s ‘Athwas’ programme, Jammu & Kashmir Lake Conservation and Management Authority (LCMA) organised an awareness rally in Srinagar. The rally was organised in collaboration with Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST). The motive of the program was to make people aware about the preservation of the famous Dal Lake. Around 300 students from various institutions took part in the awareness rally. These students conveyed their message of the preservation of Dal Lake to the people who are living around the lake. This rally also got a huge response from the students and local people. Dal Lake is also known as the backbone of the Kashmir tourism.
