Bihar: ‘Man-eating’ tiger that claimed nine lives killed in Bagaha

Bagaha (Bihar) Oct 08 (ANI): The man-eating tiger that killed nine people in Bagaha area of West Champaran in Bihar on October 08 has been killed. The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) had issued orders to the forest authorities to kill the ‘man-eating’ tiger in the Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR) forest division. Forest department used drone to find the 'man-eater' tiger. Talking to media persons, Pradyumn Gaurav, DFO said, “Orders for killing the tiger are issued as per procedure when it's established that tiger is accustomed to living in human habitation. The tiger killed 4 people in past 3 days.”
