BSF organises ‘Rozgar Mela’ for youths in J&K

Budgam (J&K), Nov 22 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a mega recruitment drive, the ‘Rozgar Mela’ on November 22 through video conferencing across forty-five places throughout India. This was organised by the Border Security Force at the Humhama campus in the Budgam district of J&K. During this second phase of the drive, around 71,000 appointment letters (OOAs) which include 7,045 applicants of Border Security Force have been distributed. Union Minister of State (Finance), Dr Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, presided over the feature. This is a step towards fulfillment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord the highest priority to employment generation. More than 700 candidates have been appointed in the Kashmir region by the Central Armed Police Forces including Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, and Sashastra Seema Bal. Out of these, 110 Appointees were present in person to receive the appointment letters. Appointment letters were given to only those applicants who qualified for both written and physical tests.
