Businessmen play important role in economic growth: CM Gehlot

Jaipur, 23 January (ANI): In view of the preparations for the State Budget 2023-24, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is taking suggestions from different sections of society. Under this, the Chief Minister had a pre-budget dialogue with the State Level Tax Consultative Committee. During this, the Chief Minister said that entrepreneurs, traders and taxpayers play an important role in the economic progress of the state. Like every year, this year also efforts will be made to include the suggestions of the Consultative Committee in the budget. The Chief Minister said that during Corona, all possible help was provided to the industries and traders by the state government. The state government has taken a historic decision to give industry status to tourism. At the same time, the industries of the state are getting a lot of encouragement from important policies like RIPS. Along with this, the Chief Minister said that today Rajasthan ranks second in the country in terms of GDP growth. Record investment MoUs have been signed during the Invest Rajasthan Summit, which is a huge achievement in itself. Industrial areas are being established in every subdivision of the state by RIICO. The MSME Act has been welcomed across the country. The state government has made available a single-window facility for setting up new industries. While in the agro and food processing sector, the state government is giving a subsidy of up to Rs 2 crore.
