Chennai man who lost his both hands in accident, gets driving license

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), May 7 (ANI): A 30-year-old resident of Tamil Nadu’s Chennai Thansean with both arms amputated drives a car using his legs. Thansean also passed the driving test and received his driving license. He is the first man to receive a driving license in Tamil Nadu in such criteria. Thansean lost his hand in an accident when he was 10 years old. Thansean went to KK Nagar Government Rehabilitation Centre, where he got the medical certificate that stated he was fit to drive. Following this, he got his driving license on April 22 2024. “I met with an electric accident when I was 10 years old, after that I got bilateral amputee… When I was 18 years old all of my friends got driving licenses that time I felt very bad… After a few years, I heard about Agnihotri Sir in Madhya Pradesh, he is the first in India to get a licence without hands inspired me…” said Thansean
