Chief Minister Gehlot distributes blankets among needy people

Jaipur, 02 January (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot distributed blankets to needy people at the Chief Minister's residence in Jaipur. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that various schemes are being implemented in the state for the welfare of the common people. 25 days of additional employment is being given by the government under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme. At the same time, Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme is being run for the unemployed in urban areas. For better health management of women, 12 sanitary napkins are being given free of cost every month under the Udaan scheme. Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools have been opened to provide free quality education in English to underprivileged students. During the Corona period, 35 lakh extremely poor people were identified by the state government and Rs 5,500 was deposited directly into their accounts. With the resolution that no one sleeps hungry, the state government along with various organisations and donors arranged food for the poor. All the people who came during this also thanked the state government for the implementation of public welfare schemes.
