CM Ashok Gehlot directs officials to ensure use of corridors in religious places

Jaipur (Rajathan) August 12 (ANI): A review meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot concerning the security management in fairs and festivals at various places in the state. During the meeting, Chief Minister Gehlot directed administration and police officers to ensure adequate security arrangements in the religious places and the surrounding area. He emphasised that strong corridors should be made for pedestrians in religious places and their use should be ensured. The Chief Minister said that all the arrangements should be discussed by the district administration by holding regular meetings with the religious trust officials and religious leaders, so that the possibility of any kind of accident can be avoided. In these meetings their expectations from the administration regarding arrangements should also discuss in detail. Besides, the officers of the district administration should continuously inspect the arrangements before the fairs and during the fairs. The Chief Minister said that the religious places of Rajasthan are the centre of faith in the whole country. In these religious places, apart from annual festivals, fairs, lakhs of devotees from different states including Rajasthan, visits every month. Therefore, no stone should be left unturned regarding the security arrangements there.
