CM Bhupendra Patel holds meeting to review flood-like situation in parts of Gujarat

Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Devbhumi Dwarka (Gujarat), Aug 28 (ANI): Heavy showers continued to affect Gujarat’s Devbhumi Dwarka on August 28. Severe waterlogging was witnessed in the district due to heavy rainfall. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reviewed the rain situation through video conference with the District Collectors and Municipal Commissioners at the State Emergency Operation Center (SEOC) in Gandhinagar. India Meteorological Department issued a red alert for heavy to heavy rainfall for Gujarat. “Heavy rainfall warning has been issued for all districts of Saurashtra and Kutch region today... Red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall has been issued for Gujarat region today... Heavy rainfall warning and yellow alert has been issued for all districts of Gujarat for tomorrow... Strong surface winds will blow today...There is also a warning for fishermen for the next 5 days... All districts of Gujarat state will witness thunderstorms and squalls in the coming two days ...,” said Ramashray Yadav.
