Congress Party, Gandhi family consider themselves above the law of land: JP Nadda
Jul 27, 2022
New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): Taking a swipe at Congress party workers protesting over Enforcement Directorate’s probe against Sonia Gandhi in connection with the National Herald corruption case, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Jagat Prakash Nadda on July 27 said that the Congress party’s attempt to keep one family above the law will not work. He also stated that the Gandhi family thinks themselves superior to the country, and the law. “Supreme Court has upheld the PMLA and jurisdiction of ED. The law is taking its course and the Congress party's attempt to keep one family above the law will not work. We must respect the law of the land,” he added.
