“Could not come…” PM Modi seeks forgiveness as he cancels Bengal visit after mother’s demise

Howrah (WB), December 30 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi sought forgivness as he cancels West Bengal’s visit after his mother’s demise Heeraba Modi. He was scheduled to flag off West Bengal's maiden Vande Bharat Express Train on December 30 physically. “I was supposed to come to West Bengal but due to personal reasons, I could not come there. I seek apologies from the people of Bengal,” he said. The Prime Minister resumed his schedule via video conferencing right after performing the last rites of his centenarian mother in Gandhinagar.
