COVID Scare: Taj Mahal put on alert, no entry for tourists without testing

Agra (UP), Dec 22 (ANI): Following an increase in COVID cases in several countries, especially China, one of the most tourist attractions of the country Taj Mahal in UP’s Agra has been placed on high alert. The move comes after an alarming surge in COVID cases in China, Japan, South Korea, France, and the United States. Tests have been made mandatory for all visitors to prevent the spread of infection. The test began after the Health Ministry directed officials for ensuring effective implementation to prevent COVID. Masks have been made mandatory for all visitors coming to the Taj Mahal. Anil Satsangi, the District Health Information Officer said, "The health department has already started the tests to prevent the spread of infection. As the alert is on, the tests have now been made mandatory for all the visitors."
