COVID testing of foreign tourists at Taj Mahal; one found positive

Agra (UP), Dec 25 (ANI): A man who recently returned from China was found positive for COVID-19 at the Taj Mahal in Agra on December 25, said the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Agra Dr Arun Kumar Srivastava. The sample has been sent to Lucknow for genome sequencing to know the variant. “A person who came from China tested Covid positive, sample sent to Lucknow for genome sequencing. He landed in India on Dec 22 and visited Agra on Dec 23. He hasn't visited any other public place since his arrival,” said Agra Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Arun Kumar Srivastava.
