Crown Prince of Jordan marries Rajwa Al Saif in lavish wedding ceremony in Amman

Amman (Jordan), June 02: The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan witnessed its first major royal wedding in 30 years on June 01. The future king of Jordan, Prince Hussein wed Rajwa Al Saif in a lavish wedding at Zahran Palace in Amman. The firstborn son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, Prince Hussein is a Captain in Jordan’s Armed Forces. Princess Consort Rajwa is a Saudi-based architect and the youngest amongst her four siblings. Crown Prince Hussein, 28, and Princess Consort Rajwa, 29, had announced their engagement in August 2022. British Royals Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton joined the celebration. First lady of United States Jill Biden was also among the VIP attendees. The last princely wedding hosted by Jordan was of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania back in 1993. Also known as the Hashemites, Jordan’s Royal family claims to be direct descendants of Prophet Muhammad.
