Daylight robbery at Muthoot Fincorp branch worked out by Delhi Police

New Delhi, July 09 (ANI): The crime branch of Delhi police arrested four persons involved in a sensational daylight robbery at Muthoot Fincorp's branch in Preet Vihar of Delhi. The arrested persons have been identified as Amir, Talib, Sirajuddin and Tripesh Kumar. On July 5, the police team received information that four armed robbers had entered the branch of Muthoot Fincop and robbed 56,000 rupees at gunpoint. In this regard, the police registered a case and the investigation was taken up. During the investigation, the police team received a tip-off that two active criminals namely Amir and Talib who were involved in the robbery would be coming near AIIMS via Barrarpulla to commit some crime. Accordingly, a trap was laid at Barrapullah loop, towards AIIMS and at the instance of a secret informer, two suspects, who were riding on a motorcycle were apprehended by the raiding police team. During interrogation, they confessed their involvement in daylight sensational robbery at Muthoot Fincorp. Further, on their instance, the police team also nabbed the mastermind of the crime, Sirajuddin, and Tripesh Kumar.
