New Delhi, June 11 (ANI): Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on June 11 showed concern about rising pollution in National Capital. He asked Centre to bring a joint action plan to reduce Delhi pollution. “Vehicle pollution is big a factor in Delhi. We had already introduced CNG vehicles here and now hoping to promote and change them to electric. Delhi contributes to only 30% of its pollution, rest from other states. Centre needs to intervene for a joint action plan,” said Gopal Rai.“We are working on mega-tree plantation drive. Now we are at 23% tree plantation, impact is becoming visible. We are increasing green cover, making people aware,” he added.
