New Delhi, Jan 05 (ANI): Briefing on the Delhi Kanjhawala death case which has shocked the country with twists and turns, Delhi Police Special CP (Law and Order) Sagar Preet Hooda on January 05 informed about the accused behind the wheel. CP Hooda said that the driver was identified after interrogating the 5 arrested persons. The Special CP further said that Amit, who was driving the car was initially not revealed by people who tried to mislead police, as he didn’t have a driving license. The police are also on a lookout for two new accused persons as they tried to conceal the identity of the driver and tried to alter the clues. “We have arrested 5 accused and we are interrogating them. Their versions are being contradicted and corroborated. We are also verifying the clues. Two more persons were involved in the matter. Investigation and raids are underway for the same. Amit was driving the vehicle and not Deepak. 2 others who tried to conceal Amit’s identity are also accused. Statement of eyewitness has been recorded. There was no link between the accused and the victim. The 2 accused suggested someone else’s name as Amit does not have a driving license. This makes the 2 of them an accused as well,” the Special CP said.
