Delhi LG launches ‘Cyber Uday 2.0’ at PHQ

New Delhi, October 07(ANI): On the occasion of cyber Jagrukta Diwas, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena launched the Delhi police awareness programme ‘Cyber Uday 2.0’at Police Headquarters. During the event, he unveiled an E-Booklet on “cyber swachata for citizens” which will be used on social media platforms for creating cyber awareness. Along with this, he also launched integration of licensing services of Delhi police with Digi-locker application. CYBER UDAY 2.0 aims to educate 26000 school and college students about cyber-crime and prevention methods within four months. Speaking on the occasion, the LG highlighted the importance of Cyber Security and Cyber Hygiene. Similarly, addressing the launch event, Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora explained that the Delhi Police will continue to deal with Cyber Crime as a priority area in a professional and efficient manner. He also assured to make society cyber proof from cyber threats through spreading cyber awareness programmes. Further, he informed that with integration of licensing services with Digi-locker, now the licensees can keep their licenses on Digi-locker which is safe and secured.
