Development means empowerment of poor, backward, tribals, women, old people: PM Modi

Varanasi (UP) July 07 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 07 inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of various development projects worth over Rs 1,700 crore in Varanasi. Addressing the event, PM Modi said, “For us, development means instilling a feeling of empowerment among poor, underprivileged, backward, tribals, women and old people. That is why we try if a house is built, it should be under the name of a woman, we're ensuring work to give each poor a pucca house.”
