DFCCIL celebrates its 17th Foundation Day

New Delhi, October 31 (ANI): The 17th Foundation Day of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd (DFCCIL) was celebrated at a function in New Delhi on October 30, 2022. On this occasion, DFCCIL organised Foundation Day Celebrations at Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was the chief guest at the function. Along with this, a large number of dignitaries including Railway Board Chairman and CEO and DFCCIL Chairman VK Tripathi, Railway Board Secretary RN Singh and DFCCIL MD RK Jain attended the event. The chief guest also unveiled the DFC in-house journal The Game Changer and the special edition of Manthan, Rajbhasha House Journal, on the occasion. During this, the Railway Minister presented awards to the DFCCIL teams and employees for their excellent performance. He also appreciated the work being done by DFCCIL. Under the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC), 1,856 km of railway lines are being laid from Ludhiana to Sonnagar and Sonnagar to Dankuni. The work of laying the 1,506-km-long railway line from Dadri to JNPT is being done under the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC).
