Differently-abled women are more likely to have poor diets: Research
Sep 12, 2022
New Delhi, Sept 12 (ANI): A recent study by researchers at the NYU School of Global Public Health found that specially-abled women are almost twice as likely to perceive their diet as poor and to experience food insecurity. The Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics published the findings. One in five American women between 18 and 44 reported having at least one impairment that affects their ability to hear, see, think clearly, move around independently, or take care of themselves. The diets of women with impairments have received less attention from researchers, though.
