New Delhi, November 11 (ANI): Amid the escalating Middle East war, the United States witnessed a change in regime after the US election. A question arises about Donald Trump’s stance on the Middle East war, as Washington has been backing Israel openly. Shattering speculations, Netanyahu stated that he spoke with Trump three times since his historic US election win. In a video statement, Netanyahu said that he and Trump see “eye-to-eye” on the Iranian threat. As per Times of Israel, Trump withdrew from the 2015 nuclear accord between Iran, Western powers and re-imposed sanctions on Tehran. Iranian leaders and regional allies in Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen were concerned that Trump’s triumph could spell more trouble. Iran's main concern is the potential for Trump to empower Israel to strike Iran's nuclear sites and conduct targeted assassinations. The re-imposition of sanctions on the oil industry is also one of their major concerns, according to Iranian, Arab, Western officials. The US-designated terrorist organisation, IRGC's commander Soleimani, was killed in a drone strike during Trump's administration. Recently, Donald Trump, during an election campaign, advised Biden to back Israel in striking Iran’s nuclear sites.
