Dumpyard in Amritsar turned into a green forest

Amritsar (Punjab), July 19 (ANI): Meet IRS Officer Rohit Mehra India’s eco-warrior. He has turned the dumpyard into a green forest in Amritsar. 3-acre of land becomes a thriving ecosystem in just 3 months. 65 varieties of trees were planted in the dense method, close to each other. 30 Trolleys of cow dung and 20 trolleys of Petals have been used. Rohit has created over 100 micro forests across the country to increase green cover. India’s green coverage stands at 3 to 4 per cent, and strives for 37.
