EC, NF Railway creates voting awareness through Kamakhya-Gandhidham Express train

Guwahati (Assam), Apr 04 (ANI): To make voters aware to participate in the election, Assam Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Mukesh Sahu flagged off the Kamakhya-Gandhidham Express train at Kamakhya railway station in Assam’s Guwahati yesterday. The train carries messages of election. It spreads message that election is a festival of democracy of every citizen of the country. It tells to check details in the voter list and go vote in Lok Sabha election with no voter to be left behind. This initiative comes under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme.
