ED is completely independent: Nirmala Sitharaman

Washington DC (USA), October 16 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman addressed the media, in Washington DC, on her official visit to the USA. She said that India is taking the Presidentship of G20 during tumultuous times and the nation would try its best to do its work in the position. She said, “ED is completely independent in what it does, it is an agency that follows predicate offences... There are instances which are so standing out and if ED goes there, it is because of some prima facie evidence in their hands: FM Sitharaman on ED being used to go after citizens.”
