Budgam (Jammu and Kashmir) October 24 (ANI): A teenage member of a self-help group in Budgam has successfully established a flower nursery to empower rural women. The nursery, which helps the girl's family sustain their livelihood, was established under the UMEED scheme of govt. This initiative aims to provide women with a sustainable livelihood and enhance their economic independence. The establishment of this nursery showcases the potential of women to contribute to economic growth and sustainable development. The founder of the nursery, Insha Bashir was successfully able to generate several employment opportunities for people around her. The flowers grown in the nursery can be sold for various purposes, such as decorations, gifts, or landscaping projects. The nursery not only creates employment opportunities but also serves as a model for other communities to replicate.
