“Everybody has been rescued,” updates Northeast Railway CPRO on Buxar train incident

Guwahati (Assam), October 12 (ANI): Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) of Northeast Frontier Railway Sabyasachi De on October 12 spoke on the North-East superfast train that derailed near Buxar’s Raghunathpur Railway station. He updated about the current situation of the incident. “The rescue mission has been completed as of 2 am today, everybody has been rescued. The passengers started their journey around 5 am today. At the site, the line is being cleared. About 1,000 passengers have started the journey and will reach Assam by 11 pm tonight. There is information about 4 casualties and around 42 minor injuries,” said Sabyasachi De. The North East Express train was going from Anand Vihar Terminal, Delhi to Kamakhya in Assam when its 21 coaches derailed at 21.35 on October 11 near Raghunathpur station of the Danapur division of the East Central Railway.
