UP: Fire officials rescue bird entangled in kite string in Meerut

Meerut (UP), Aug 02 (ANI): Fire department officials on Aug 02 rescued an eagle entangled in a kite string from a tree in Meerut. The brave official climbed up the tree and rescued the hapless bird. The bird has been sent to a veterinary hospital for further treatment. Several incidents of injury have been reported as a result of using synthetic high-strength string, often known as "Chinese manja."
