FM Sitharaman eulogises India’s Digital Public Infrastructure in US

Washington (USA), April 15 (ANI): With the Digital Public Infrastructure heavily being involved with the daily day to day workings of Indians, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on April 14 in USA’s Washington extolled the contribution of the Digital Public Infrastructure for the advancement of India in the recent years. Further going down the statistics over the same, Sitharaman informed about the number of bank accounts that have been opened through DPI payments. “In India, during the last couple of years, we have seen how DPI (Digital Public Infrastructure) can contribute to targeted, quick, efficient and inclusive delivery through innovative methods developed by both public and private sector initiatives,” the Union Minister said. The Union Minister lauded the platform at the Digital Public Infrastructure Stacking Up The Benefits Program in the US.
