Former Congress and JD(U) leaders join TMC

New Delhi, Nov 23 (ANI): Former Congress leaders Kirti Azad and Ashok Tanwar joined All India Trinamool Congress in the presence of TMC chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on November 23. Former Janata Dal (United) leader Pavan Varma also joined TMC in Delhi. All the leaders met at TMC Member of Parliament Abhishek Banerjee’s Delhi residence. While talking to media, Kirti Azad said, "It makes me happy to say that under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee, I'll work for the development of the nation. Today, a personality like her is needed in the country who can show the country the right direction."
