Rome (Italy), Nov 01 (ANI): India’s G20 Sherpa and Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on October 31 said that the G20 leaders have agreed to strengthen procedures of WHO for COVID vaccines’ approval. “In principle, it has been agreed that we should all move quickly towards mutual recognition of COVID-19 vaccines particularly those which have received EUA by WHO. The detailing will be worked out in due course…By and large, everyone agreed that we need travel back in action. The mood in the room was to strengthen the WHO’s process of vaccine so that they can approve vaccine faster. Once the vaccines are accepted by WHO, it should become travel document to help people move,” said Piyush Goyal to ANI.
