Gold-winning play by Nayanmoni Saikia, her squad at CWG ‘22 is celebrated in Saikia’s hometown

Golaghat (Assam), Aug 03 (ANI): Family of Nayanmoni Saikia, a member of India's lawn bowls team, celebrated the squad’s gold-winning performance at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 on August 02. The team created history by winning nation's first-ever medal in the sport. By defeating South Africa in the women's fours event final, the team bagged a gold medal.
