Grievance redressal necessary to ensure good governance: CM Gehlot

New Delhi, October 07(ANI): The Rajasthan government is providing sensitive, transparent and accountable good governance to the state’s people. The state government has arranged public grievances redressal system at the gram panchayat level so that the problems of the people can be resolved effectively. Under this, recently a review meeting of the public grievances redressal committee was called by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to resolve the public deprivation case. On this occasion, Chief Minister Gehlot did a thorough review of the resolution of the cases received through jan sampark portal, helpline 181, public hearing and other means. During this, Chief Minister Gehlot said that the problems of the common man are being effectively resolved at the grassroots level. The problems of the state’s people received at the chief minister’s level have been reduced by 50 percent. He directed the officers to solve the problems of common people in a time bound manner. He said that effective monitoring should be ensured to solve the problems of the people. At the same time, Chief Minister Gehlot said that disciplinary action should be taken against the officers who are being negligent in resolving the problems of the common man.
