New Delhi, June 25 (ANI): Referring to the Gujarat government’s approach to control the 2002 riots, Union Home Minister Amit shah on June 25 said that there was no delay on part of the Gujarat government in requisitioning the Army to deal with the post-Godhra 2002 Gujarat riots. During an interview with ANI’s Smita’s Prakash, Shah said, “As far as Gujarat Govt is concerned, we were not late. The day Gujarat Bandh call was given, we called Army that afternoon itself. Army takes some time to reach. There wasn't even a day's delay. The Court appreciated it too.”
