The Animal Health Centre in flood-hit Devbhumi Dwarka district of Gujarat has mobilised teams to treat injured animals and support affected farmers. These teams are visiting villages to provide medical care and necessary assistance. The toll-free number 1962 is active for emergency assistance to farmers. Calling it will send an ambulance for prompt animal treatment. The campaign's goal is to save livestock and help farmers recover from the crisis. The Gujarat government has swiftly provided aid to those affected by the recent floods caused by heavy rains. Grants have been issued to all districts, with 14 being the most severely impacted. The NDRF deployed 17 teams, the SDRF 27 teams, and the army 9 columns, with additional support from Air Force and Coast Guard helicopters. A total of 42,083 people were relocated and 37,050 were rescued from the flood-affected areas.
