Gulf leaders took care of Indian citizens out of respect for PM: Jaishankar

Vadodara (Gujarat), Oct 01 (ANI): Recalling the struggles that India faced during COVID-19 with its citizens in the Gulf, Union External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on October 01 in Vadodara, said that the Gulf leaders took care of the Indian citizens out of respect for the PM. “During COVID-19, PM Modi asked US President not to stop the vaccine supply chain for India and the world and as a result of that, the US administration gave India an exemption in the Defence Production Act and due to that our vaccination program went smoothly,” the Union Minister said.
