Haryana govt announces cash reward of 81 crores for medal-winning athletes of Asiad

Karnal (Haryana), Oct 20 (ANI): During the felicitation ceremony of the winners of the Asian Games, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on October 20 said that a total of 81 crores have been distributed among the players from Haryana who participated in the recently concluded 19th Asian Games in China’s Zhangzhou and won medals. “…The list of games is very long in which Haryana has its own place. Haryana has the participation of 30-40 pc... Haryana Government gives Rs 6 crores to Olympic Gold medalists and Rs 3 crores to gold medalists in Asian Games... Today, a total of Rs. 81 crores have been distributed today,” said Manohar Lal.
