“Health is integral part of G20 agenda”, says MoS Bharati Pawar at Health Working Group meeting

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 18 (ANI): Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs V Muraleedharan and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar attended the first Health Working Group meeting under India’s G20 presidency on January 18 at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. While addressing the meeting, Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar said, “During once in century crisis of the pandemic, G20 countries consistently worked for promoting coordinated efforts among its members to achieve good and equitable health for all. Health is an integral part of the G20 agenda.” The three-day-long G20 Health Working Group meeting is being held between January 18 and 20 at Thiruvananthapuram. Tracking health emergencies, preparedness and response, strengthening cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector, and digital health innovation and solutions are the three priorities under health for India in its G20 presidency, the Union Health Ministry said.
